Steven Ritucci Jr, DO

Dr. Steven Ritucci Jr, DO, FAAPMR is a board-certified physiatrist with more than seven years post residency experience in the treatment of complicated spine and musculoskeletal conditions. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Ritucci graduated magna cum laude from NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 and also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Boston in 2009 where he received a bachelor of science in biology. He also holds a bachelor of science in applied exercise science from Springfield College in 2002 and worked many years after as a personal and collegiate strength coach and fitness specialist. He underwent his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation through NOVA Southeastern University in Miami Florida finishing in 2017 and then completed a clinical fellowship in spine care at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts in 2018.

Dr. Ritucci became fervently interested in regenerative medicine as early as 2012 and had his first exposure in 2014 on a pain management rotation in residency. Since then, he has worked as a lead physiatrist and occupational urgent care centers and skilled nursing facilities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts where he treated patients with degenerative musculoskeletal issues and work-related injuries. He currently is most passionate about practicing regenerative medicine and offering cutting edge treatments to help treat patients' chronic pain without the use of drugs or surgery. He still also practices conventional pain management and sports medicine when indicated or when regenerative treatments are not an option.

In addition to the above, Dr. Ritucci also performs Independent Medical Exams on complex cases involving musculoskeletal and neurological injuries in the setting of Worker’s Compensation injuries, disability, or personal injury claims.

In his free time, Dr. Ritucci loves spending time with his family including his wife and three children. On a personal level, he enjoys exercise, fitness, and bodybuilding. He still competes competitively in powerlifting and holds several collegiate and state records. He is also passionate about electronic music and is a DJ/mixer and plans to get into music production in the future when he has more free time.
